Licensed Use Authorization Program

Licensing Program

Certification demonstrates what you know. Licensing authorizes how you use it—in real cases, for real attorneys and organizations, under the Lexcura name.

Framed professional licensing credentials on an office wall

Knowledge vs accountability

Certification and licensing are two different things

An attorney who retains a licensed user relies on a methodology that produces the same result no matter who applies it. Licensing is what makes that promise enforceable.

Knowledge

Certification

  • Learn the Lexcura methodology
  • Understand the seven pillars in sequence
  • Complete the training exercises
  • Pass the certification examination
  • Earn the LCCIA credential

Accountability

Licensing

  • Apply the methodology professionally
  • Produce Lexcura-compliant work product
  • Follow governance standards
  • Maintain authorization requirements
  • Operate as an Authorized Licensee

Licensing pathways

Three pathways. One standard.

An individual is not held to a lighter standard than an enterprise, and a firm may not adapt the methodology because it has more people.

Individual License

For independent professional use. A licensee who takes cases directly and is personally accountable for every report issued under their name.

Firm License

For multi-user deployment inside a litigation firm or medical-legal practice, so a team applies one model to one standard across a shared caseload.

Enterprise License

For organization-wide implementation and governance in health systems, insurers and large organizations reviewing adverse events, claims or investigations.

Professional application

Using the Model in professional practice

Authorization focuses on how work is prepared, checked and communicated. The practical responsibilities below support the existing scope and governance standards.

01

Check the engagement scope

Confirm the licensed user, intended work product and permitted use before applying proprietary materials. Refer questions beyond the license or professional role to the appropriate reviewer.

02

Make findings traceable

Keep source citations, record limitations and contradictory evidence alongside the analysis. Another reviewer should be able to check a material statement against the original record.

03

Separate organization from clinical judgment

Trained analysts organize records, build timelines and check citations under clinical supervision. Clinical findings are made or verified by clinicians holding an active registered nurse license or a higher clinical license.

04

Prepare the report for review

Distinguish documented facts, interpretations and unresolved questions. Check the report against the applicable Lexcura standards before communicating the work product to counsel.
