These terms govern use of the Lexcura Summit website. By using the site, the contact forms or the secure upload area, you accept them.
Educational content, not advice
The pages, guides, newsletters, papers and illustrations on this website are educational. They describe how clinical records can be analyzed; they are not legal advice, medical advice, nursing advice or a substitute for the judgment of the professionals handling your matter.
Nothing on this website creates an attorney-client relationship, a consulting engagement or a duty of care. An engagement with Lexcura Summit begins only when scope, terms and payment have been agreed in writing.
Illustrative scenarios
Case examples and scenarios on this website are illustrative and fictional unless expressly identified as a documented engagement. They show how an analysis approach applies; they are not descriptions of real clients, real patients or promised outcomes.
Education and credentials
The LCCIA training program and the Licensed Use Authorization Program teach an analytical framework. Completing them does not grant or replace a professional license, expand a regulated scope of practice, or qualify anyone as an expert witness — expert qualification depends on knowledge, experience, the issues in the case and applicable legal standards.
Enrollment in the LCCIA program is limited to registered nurses, attorneys and paralegals whose work is connected to medicine or law. Training is self-paced and online with 30 days of course access; examinations may be retaken after 7 days where a score falls just below passing and only remedial clarification is required; fees are non-refundable once course access is granted.
Enquiries and uploaded records
Contact and case-request forms are for general enquiries only. Do not include patient names or protected health information in them.
Records may be sent only through the secure upload area, and only by someone lawfully holding them and authorized to share them. By uploading, you confirm you have that authority. Where records contain protected health information, a signed Business Associate Agreement must be in place before upload.
Intellectual property
The Lexcura Clinical Intelligence Model™, the LCCIA™ name, course materials, guides and website content belong to Lexcura Summit. You may read and share links to public pages; you may not copy, resell, teach or republish the materials, or present the methodology as your own, without a written license.
Limits of liability
The website is provided as is. Lexcura Summit is not liable for decisions made in reliance on website content alone, for interruptions to the website, or for information sent to us outside the secure upload area.
Governing law
