Enquiries / Accounts / Uploaded Records

This policy explains what the Lexcura Summit website collects, why, and who can see it. It covers three things: messages sent through our forms, sign-in accounts, and records sent through the secure upload area.

Who we are

Lexcura Summit provides clinical medical-legal analysis to attorneys, healthcare organizations and risk and compliance teams. Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@lexcurasummit.com or by calling (352) 703-0703.

What we collect

Enquiries. When you send a message through the contact or case-request forms, we receive your name, firm, email address, telephone number, the type of matter and the summary you choose to write. Please do not include patient names or protected health information in these forms.

Accounts. When you create an account for the secure upload area, we hold your email address and a record of your sign-in.

Uploaded records. When you send records through the secure upload area, we hold the files you choose to send, the matter name you give them, and when they arrived.

How your information is used

Enquiry details are used to respond to you and to scope any work you ask about. Account details are used to operate the secure upload area. Uploaded records are used solely to provide the clinical analysis you have engaged us to perform.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use enquiry or record data for marketing lists.

Who can see uploaded records

Each uploaded file sits in a private store. It can be opened only by the account that sent it and by the Lexcura review team. Records are never requested or accepted by ordinary email, and we ask you never to send protected health information by email or text message.

Where records contain protected health information, the Business Associate Agreement signed before upload governs how that information is handled.

How long information is kept

Enquiries are kept while they are being handled and for a reasonable period afterwards. Uploaded records are kept for the duration of the engagement and any period required by our agreement with you. You may ask us to delete your account and uploaded files at any time by contacting us.

How information is protected

The website runs over an encrypted connection. Uploaded records travel over that encrypted connection into a private store with access limited by sign-in, and administrative access is restricted to authorized members of the Lexcura team.

Your choices

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to contact@lexcurasummit.com. If we change this policy, the revised version will be posted on this page.

Questions about privacy, or a request to see or delete your information: email contact@lexcurasummit.com or call (352) 703-0703. See also our Terms of Use.
